Quality standard
Certified quality for your translations
Your translations are very important to us. That’s why we strictly conform to the globally valid ISO 17100 standard for every translation. This is the international process standard for translation service providers, which replaced the ISO 15038 standard in 2015.
The ISO 17100 standard is an industry-wide set of regulations for translation service providers, which serves to frame a set of standardised processes and quality measures.
ISO 17100 also defines terms fundamental to translation management, creating a universally applicable vocabulary.
With the ISO 17100 standard, customers, service providers and agencies can all rely on a universal protocol.
DIN EN ISO 17100 also defines and standardises IT security and IT infrastructure. The IT infrastructure at intercontact ensures that customer and project data can be edited safely and protected from misuse at all times.
At intercontact, we offer our customers a unique, individual service and we are proud of our team-oriented internal structure. It allows our highly qualified employees to work both as a team and independently to provide our clients with personalised support and advice.
Our goal is to help you complete your language projects by delivering the best possible quality. This is a key part of our 30-year history as a family business.
IT and data security
Translations and data that is always secure
We go one step further to ensure that your data is secure by hosting all data on an encrypted local server. This has many advantages when it comes to data security, as it means we are not reliant on cloud data storage services, which are often headquartered in remote foreign countries and subject to other jurisdictions and data protection regulations.
In addition, intercontact works with an external data centre, which is licensed according to ISO 27001, where back-up copies of all data are stored. This means that even in extreme situations, such as an office fire, your data is protected and secured.
Our IT infrastructure makes sure that our data security and data transfer systems are always up to date.
intercontact customers can count on controlled processes, high quality standards and maximum IT security for all translation and copywriting projects.
